TruTip
The Thermal Tipping and Flaring machine enables medical device manufacturers to thermally modify the tips of catheters, sheaths and dilators. This simple but capable machine requires less than 1 square foot of expensive cleanroom table space.
Through the use of an intelligent controller, quick change die and an interchangeable (4Fr to 24Fr) grips, the Thermal Tipping and Flaring machine can be changed from one application to another in less than a minute after cooling.
This machine can also be used to thermally flare most medical device tubing.
TruCut
The Tru Rotary Cutter is a unique solution to catheter manufacturers braided shaft cutting needs. This programmable, PLC controlled cutter constrains the tip of the catheter in close proximity to the blade which rotates around a clamped and stationary catheter. When coupled with internal illumination and programmable motion control, this cutter enables the operator to precisely position the shaft relative to marker bands or pull rings and accurately cut the distal end. TruBond
The Tru Thermal Catheter Bonder is the embodiment of LEAN principles. The highly versatile and robust catheter bonding machine consumes less than one square foot of expensive cleanroom table workspace. The efficient thermal heaters and novel thermal bonding jaws have been designed to allow quick changeover from one catheter size to another while providing exact process control of the thermal bonding process. The design of this Thermal Catheter Bonder eliminates tedious height adjustments and allows the operator to work at an ergonomical tabletop level. Its user interface is simple and straightforward (just one main control screen) and the Thermal Catheter Bonder incorporates an attractive, Hi-Tech design.
TruAir
This Tru Hot Air Appliance is a versatile, low cost source of controlled thermal energy requiring a minimum of clean room table space. At less than 0.5 ft2 footprint, this tool provides 4 to 100 liters per minute of heated air or nitrogen. The SMC Flow Sensor provides a very accurate (+/- 0.1 LPM) and validate-able measurement of air flow.
